Construction & details

The Axer 650 HD tree shear is a great option for excavators over 12 tonnes. It is a larger and more rugged version of the Axer 650. We have reinforced the frame, grapples, pins and increased the cutting force, so the tree shear is also suitable for cutting larger trees and can be installed on excavators up to 30 tonnes.

A robust box-shaped frame, strong cutting power, 20 mm thick hardened cutting blade and optimised geometry ensure trouble-free operation on larger machines and trees. Available as a K model with bolted blade and as an L model with a patented retractable cutting blade, allowing use for loading, brush clearing and as a regular grapple.

Both models feature a hardened, removable and replaceable cutting blade. The tree shear uses our own in-house designed and manufactured cylinder, ensuring optimal cutting geometry and power.
